"We had the pleasure of working with Curb Appeal Design. Our initial plan was to replace our severely cracked cement walkway with pavers. We met with several contractors, all of which were offering the typical "cookie cutter" paver job. We figured that was what we would end up doing. Then we met Mo from Curb Appeal Design! He was truly in a different league than anyone else that we met. He had a clear vision of what he wanted do and it sounded amazing. He conceptualized a design that was like nothing else that we had ever seen! The walkway and steps that he created for us are absolutely stunning. We then decided it was important to have our landscaping replaced since it was in bad shape and we wanted to showcase our magnificent walkway. Mo was also able to create a gorgeous landscape design with our plant parameters of being deer resistant and low maintenance. Mo was also able to install landscaping lighting for us, which looks fantastic. Each day we couldn't wait for Mo and his crew to arrive because there was always a huge difference in how things looked from the previous day. When the job was done, it far surpassed anything that we could have imagined. We told Mo that he was a celebrity on our street because our neighbors and those taking walks on our street would comment on how amazing everything looked. Our front yard and entrance to our home have been completely transformed and our walkway and landscaping could now easily be on the cover of any high-end landscaping magazine. It really is that beautiful!
In addition to being a master craftsman and designer, Mo is a pleasure to work with. He is professional and very easy going. He and his crew are also very reliable, hardworking and neat. Each day they cleaned up the work area and hosed down our walkway so that it always looked great. We are so happy that one job (the pavers) turned into two additional ones (landscaping and lighting) since everything that Mo did was beyond incredible.
So now we will be a client for life. We are already planning on having Mo build a porch for us and replace our driveway. He creates a work of art with his projects and we are so happy to have found him! We promise that you will not be disappointed if you work with Curb Appeal Design on your next project. "Honesty, Integrity, Good Taste and Hard Working. Mo, Leo and his team have been wonderful to work with. I am usually a micro-manager and like to involved in creative decisions. I suspended some of those urges due to time constraints. As I watched progressed, I looked at the work in process and always wondered what choice I would make (the right way) and what choice the contractor would make (the cheap way) and in every case, I was pleasantly surprised to see Mo make the right choice vs the cheap choice and I appreciate that. He made the color/style choices and I couldn't be happier. All my neighbors are envious and want him to do work for them. Hire this man, let him make your choices, he has good taste and does nice work."

"Mo and his team offer a rare combination of honesty, professionalism, quality work and timely work. Unfortunately, I have not started my yard renovation with Mo. I hired initially another person, tempted by his low prices. The other guy's initial price turned out to be a teaser, and his work was low quality. Luckily Mo was recommended to me and working with him has been a breath of fresh air. He diagnosed the deficiencies, repaired them, and then built on them. Mo's word is his bond, his initial estimate is identical to the final price (unlike my previous experience). Mo's quality is superior. My wife and I recommend him whole heartedly."

"Mo's team did a fabulous job in a very reasonable time period considering the nasty weather we get in the March/April time frame. His men installed a series of french drains that will channel all the water coming from neighboring properties in to the drains, keeping our foundation free of excessive rain water. The wall and patio design were above our expectations. We really appreciated their attention to the details as we discussed with Mo before the project began. We would definitely recommend Mo for another project in the future."

"Mo and his crew took on our retaining wall project that had limited workspace, limited access, large boulders, and a steep driveway. Curb Appeal was able to overcome all of these obstacles and created a great finished product. Every day the workers left our property neat and clean, and ready for the next day of work. They were reliable, friendly, and always kept us in the loop. I doubt there is a more difficult project out there, but if there is, I highly recommend Mo and Curb Appeal Design."

"Curb Appeal Design was recommended to us by our next door neighbor. For the past 3 years we were jealous to see how neat and nice my neighbor's lawn and pathway look like after it was done by Mo and his team. So we decided to contact Mo and we have no regrets: from very beginning to very end the process of fixing our lawn and pathway was flawless and easy. Mo keeps his word!. If he said the work is starting Friday by 7 AM - he means that. If he said the job will be done by Saturday afternoon - voila! It's done as promised. The quality of work you can see right away. Our house looks amazing now! People that drive by our house are stopping to check it out and take some pictures.

"I had a large backyard space but much of it was old, broken concrete & patchy landscaping that I didn't know what to do with. I left the vision to Mo & he created a beautiful backyard retreat at a great price. He designed the space & chose stone that worked with the style of our house. We now use our backyard every day whereas before we would generally not spend much time out there at all. The team was courteous, professional & knowledgeable. It was a large job and we were very pleased with the entire process. In addition, the cost was substantially less than area competitors.

"I have never worked with a landscaper before but know a fair amount about plants and their needs. My front yard needed a facelift and Mo brought it to life with the proper use of stone and flowering plants. I can't wait to see the transformation over the next year as the yard goes through its cycle of blooming and rest. Mo was eager to help and met us at a garden center where I felt like a kid in a candy store. He spent two hours with me and answered every question, no matter how inconsequential. He is an encyclopedia of gardening knowledge and insight. The final result is amazing, as it really perks up the house, along with my spirit. I water it every few days and enjoy seeing the utter harmony of hard-scape and soft-scape in my yard. It is pure pleasure for me. The price was reasonable and within my budget, and I can't say enough about Curb Appeal and how Mo approaches a project; to him, it is not a job, it is literally a vision brought to life."

The wall was built by master masons who used beautiful aged large stones that are esthetically stunning and structurally sound. Every time we look at it, we feel happy. "Curb Appeal Design contractors completed a top notch quality home improvement and repair job at our home in West Orange, NJ. We had wood damage to one corner of our porch from rain water that entered in at that area over time and caused wood rot and mold and fungus. Years of water infiltration caused wood damage and structural post support damage, as well. Mo Soliman and his crew came and tore down the rotten building material and reinforced the structural support to make it like brand new. They replaced the sheetrock, trim, spackled and painted. It looked great. But, we continued to discover periodic rain water leaking in from that same corner. Mo Soliman and senior carpenter came back multiple times to study and investigate the problem over a period of weeks. It was like a mystery. But, after multiple tests and investigations into the study of this problem they discovered it was coming from a defective window. He and his senior carpenter were relentless until they discovered the source of the problem and finally solved it. If it was anyone else, they probably would have quit and never returned. They have gained a tremendous amount of respect because of their integrity and perseverance. I will be calling them soon to start a new project. They are the most reliable contractors I have ever had to deal with.”

"Last March 2011 during a storm my 10" high 30 year old wall breached with an inground pool 10" behind it. A delicate & challenging job to replace. I called 15 contractors to come and view the situation. Some walked away due to the undertaking. Others offered ideas but seemed to lack confidence and not guarantee that the pool could be damaged. Moe pulled up looked at the situation for a few minutes and said "I can do this." His ideas and insight were just what I wanted. Plus his estimate was reasonable in comparison, and he did not run into the usual problems in the middle of the job to raise the price. My town required a variance to replace this pre-existing wall. Moe stuck by me through it with frequent calls to see how I was progressing. Usually you have to chase the contractor. Not with Moe. Once my permit was granted Moe and his masons started immediately. They finish the job without the disappearing act most contractors employ. His crew was exceptional working non-stop and at the end of the day cleaned up efficiently. If you go with anyone else but Moe, you're making a mistake.”
